Rooted in Charlotte Mason philosophy
children are invited to slow down, observe, and delight in the world around them.
Nature Study
Through nature journaling and narration, students will learn to use their five senses as they explore our weekly themes.
This class cultivates habits of careful observation, patience, curiosity, and respect for nature.
Science with Living Books
Rather than textbooks, scientific ideas are introduced through living books and stories written by passionate authors that make science meaningful and memorable.
Literature and Discussion
Each month we will enjoy a chapter book together. Reading both in and out of class is paired with narration and discussion.
Free Play and Exploration
Unstructured free play outdoors is where childhood comes fully alive. In nature, children move, imagine and problem-solve. This time builds confidence, resilience and a deep sense of belonging in the world around them.
