The Hawks is Acorn Schools phonics foundations class for 5-7 year olds. Join us for a gentle, hands-on introduction to early literacy in our Hawks class! Designed for young learners, this program focuses on exploring the letters of the alphabet through sound, name recognition, and letter formation. Each class will spotlight a different letter, engaging children through:

• Stories
• Songs
• Movement
• Hands-on Activities

Through phonemic awareness activities, children will learn to recognize and differentiate letter sounds, laying a strong foundation for early reading skills. We will also incorporate form drawing, a Waldorf-inspired approach that enhances fine motor skills and prepares little hands for writing.
